The Castleton Triota Women's and Gender Studies Honor Society is a national academic and service-based honor society that recognizes academic excellence among its inductees.

The Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and recognizes the superior academic achievements of its inductees.

SALUTE is the only national honor society recognizing the achievements of student veterans. SALUTE membership recognizes their commitment to academic excellence, high principles and superior achievement throughout their lifetimes, and is dedicated to service, academics, leadership, unity, tribute and excellence.

As elected representative for the Castleton senior class, the delegates represent the interests of students in their respective graduating class. The Senior Class President is the official spokesperson of the senior class student body and oversees all senior class student association activities, development and fiscal planning.

In March student members of the Castleton American Choral Association (ACDA) Club and National Chapter attended the ACDA Eastern Division Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.

Academic Recognition Scholarships are given to first-year students who have a minimum GPA of 3.75 and are nominated by their First Year Seminar professor. These students will receive an annual scholarship, enrollment in Honors courses during the sophomore year, the option to live in Honors housing, and eligibility to serve on the Honors Council.
