After an impressive season Peyton Faasse has been named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Conference First Team.

The following students were named to the Castleton University Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2015-16 academic year. To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

The tradition of the nursing pin and the ceremonial pinning originated in the 1860's at the Nightingale School of Nursing at St. Thomas Hospital in London. Having been recently awarded The Red Cross of St. George for her selfless service to the injured and dying in the Crimean War, Florence Nightingale chose to extend the honor to her most outstanding graduate nurses by presenting each of them with a medal for excellence. The pin presented is both beautiful and symbolic. It has been both literally and symbolically a cross to bear, a medal of honor, and a badge of courage.

Wood earned both Player and Pitcher of the Week honors for her NAC Tournament Performance

Swaine earned Rookie of the Week honors for her performance in the NAC Tournament.

Poland earned Rookie of the Week honors for his NAC Tournament performance.

LaBeau earned a pair of honors for his dominating performance in the NAC Tournament.

Zach Bahan was recently named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Kayla Wood was recently named CoSIDA Academic All-District.

The Plato Prize is awarded to a student with the best essay in philosophy during the academic year and is sponsored by Castleton's Philosophy Department and Chief Academic Officer. The competition is open to all Castleton students.

Cameron was named to D3hockey.com's First Team as an All-American for her impeccable performance in 2015-16.
