Following a selection to the North Atlantic Conference First Team this fall, Castleton men's soccer senior Alex McCormick has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's New England Region Third Team.

The NAC Men's Golf Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the men's golf culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the golf playing rules and etiquette.

Sawyer Shane was named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team, an honor reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the soccer culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.

10/27/16 Castleton landed two players on the NAC Second Team, as Fidele Rutayisire and Paul Phillips received the honors

Freshman Jack Kingdon and sophomore Thomas Kirk highlight the winners, as Kingdon was named NAC Rookie of the Year, and Kirk was named Defensive Player of the Year. Kirk also received First Team All-Conference honors, along with Spartan midfielder Alex McCormick

9/26/16 Following a three-point performance to help her team edge previously undefeated conference opponent UMaine-Farmington, 4-2, Haley Spittle of the Castleton field hockey team has been named the North Atlantic Conference East Player of the Week.

Following up on a breakout season, Emily Lowell of the Castleton University field hockey team has earned North Atlantic Conference East All-Conference honors, determined by a vote of the league's head coaches.

Chad Copeland has won the NAC player of the week award twice so far this season. The first time coming on 11/28/16 and the second time coming on 1/2/17.
