Sigma Zeta is a national undergraduate honor society that encourages and fosters scholarly activity and recognizes academic scholarship in the natural and computer sciences and mathematics.

Over 10 students participated in the Castleton University Chamber Singers in Spring 2022.

Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society recognizes the superior academic achievement of students in business, management, and administration.

Over 10 students participated in the Castleton University String Orchestra in Spring 2022 along with staff, faculty, and community members.

This award is given annually by the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Vermont chapter to undergraduate students from colleges and universities across the state who demonstrate a commitment to promoting health and physical activity in education.

Over 15 students participated in the Wind Symphony this semester, where they performed a program of "American Antiphonals". This concert featured works by Giovanni Gabrieli, Michael Markowski, Claude T. Smith, and more.

McNair Scholars at Castleton University take classes on graduate-level research methods, as well as receive advising on aspects of the graduate school application process and all related facets of higher education that they are likely to encounter. Scholars also complete a summer research project under the guidance of a faculty mentor and are provided the opportunity to visit schools and attend and/or present at scholarly research conferences.

Over 30 students participated in the staging of Castleton University's Theater Arts spring musical, "A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder".

This grant is awarded on behalf of the TRIO Student Support Services program. Recipients must meet several criteria to be awarded this grant. To qualify a student must: have 60 credits or fewer, be TRIO eligible (first-generation, low-income, or student with disabilities), Pell-eligible with unmet need (which can include student loans), maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA, use ASC services at least six times each academic year, complete 12 iGrad financial literacy courses, and write a winning essay.
