David Mills Presents Poetry by Langston Hughes at Castleton University on Feb. 16.

Castleton, VT (02/07/2023) — Performer and author David Mills will present a performance of Langton Hughes's poetry at Castleton University's Jeffords Center Auditorium at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Mills poems have appeared in publications such as Ploughshares, Colorado Review, Crab Orchard Review, Jubilat, Callaloo, Obsidian, Brooklyn Rail, Diode Journal and Fence.

He lived in Langston Hughes' landmark home for three years, and he wrote the audio script for MacArthur-Genius-Award Winner Deborah Willis' curated exhibition: Reflections in Black:100 Years of Black Photography, which showed at the Whitney and Getty West Museums.

This event is free and open to the public. Sign-up can be found on the Castleton website.
