Castleton Announces 27th Annual Summer Concert Series Lineup
Castleton, VT (06/06/2022) — Castleton University, in partnership with Heritage Family Credit Union, will present the 27th annual Castleton Summer Concerts at the Pavilion on Tuesday evenings from June 28 through Aug. 9 at the Castleton Pavilion.
Heritage Family Credit Union Presents: Castleton Summer Concerts at the Pavilion features a lineup of outstanding local and national bands and artists.
Kicking off this year's series is Satin & Steel, an R&B horn band that covers the likes of Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, and other horn-focused music from Santana, the Beatles, as well as a number of original songs.
This year's lineup includes:
- June 28 - Satin & Steel (Soul and R&B)
- July 5 - Mile Twelve (Bluegrass)
- July 12 - New York Players (Variety Dance Band)
- July 19 - Snake Mountain Bluegrass (Bluegrass)
- July 26 - The Twangtown Paramours (Contemporary Blues & Rock)
- Aug. 2 - The Grift (Funky Rock 'n Roll)
- Aug. 9 - Wyld Nightz Rock (Classic Rock 'n Roll)
Castleton University will also host a special show for the community on Saturday, June 18 at 7 p.m. featuring the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps at Dave Wolk Stadium.
All concerts in the series begin at 7 p.m. and are free and open to the public. The Castleton Pavilion is an indoor/outdoor facility, which allows concerts to be held rain or shine. At each performance, Castleton University will collect non-perishable food items to support the Castleton Food Shelf.
