Trevor Sayers Named to ECFC All-Academic Team

Following another impressive season on the field, the Castleton Football team had 12 players named to the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference All-Academic Team, as announced on Wednesday, February 3.

Trevor Sayers of Barnstable, MA was one of the 12 players to be named to the team for his performance in the classroom.

Castleton's 12 selections is one less than the program-record 13 on the team a season ago. The Spartans were one of four conference schools to place at least 11 players on the ECFC All-Academic Team. To be named to the team a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing, have participated a minimum of two years with the team and achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.
