Timothea Carone Named NAC Player of the Week

Castleton softball player Timothea Carone, of Bomoseen, VT, was honored by the North Atlantic Conference on Monday afternoon as Player of the Week.

Carone led the Spartan offense on the week, recording ten hits in six games for a .500 batting average. The sophomore tallied two doubles and one triple, while driving in four runs. After the first week of the season, Carone leads the team in hits, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, while tying for the team lead in doubles and triples.
