Soren Pelz-Walsh Named NAC Rookie of the Week

For the sixth time in as many weeks, senior Soren Pelz-Walsh of Brattleboro, VT has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Pelz-Walsh collected five wins this week to help the Spartans improve to 9-2 on the season and 3-1 in the North Atlantic Conference. The senior went 2-0 in singles play with both wins coming in straight sets, while teaming up with Quentin Barthe to capture three doubles wins, including an 8-2 victory in the top-flight at Lyndon. So far this season, Pelz-Walsh has notched a team-leading 19 wins, with respective marks of 8-2 and 11-0 in singles and doubles play.
