Soren Pelz-Walsh Named NAC Rookie of the Week

For the third consecutive week, senior Soren Pelz-Walsh of Brattleboro, VT has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon.

Pelz-Walsh turned in another solid display this week to help the Spartans complete the season sweep over Norwich with a 7-2 win. The senior teamed up with Quentin Barthe in the second-flight doubles game, capturing a perfect 8-0 win. He followed that up with an impressive straight sets (6-2, 6-1) victory in the No. 2 singles slot. On the season, Pelz-Walsh has collected seven wins in all competitions with respective records of 3-1 and 4-0 in singles and doubles play.
