Soren Pelz-Walsh Named NAC Rookie of the Week

After helping the Spartans maintain their perfect start to the season, senior Soren Pelz-Walsh of Brattleboro, VT was honored this afternoon as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Pelz-Walsh didn't lose a single set in two matches, as the Spartans knocked off Johnson St. 9-0 for its third straight victory. The senior picked up his second singles win of the year with a straight sets (6-0, 6-0) victory before taking the No. 2 double match with Quentin Barthe, 8-0. On the season, Pelz-Walsh has collected five wins in all competitions, including a perfect 3-0 mark in doubles play.

This marks the second consecutive week that Pelz-Walsh has been honored by the NAC for his on-court performance.
