Soren Pelz-Walsh Named ECFC First-Team All-Conference

Senior Soren Pelz-Walsh of Brattleboro, VT was one of 11 Castleton players to receive Eastern Collegiate Football Conference All-Conference recognition, including a program record seven ECFC First-Team honorees as announced by the conference.

Eric Decker was selected as the Offensive Lineman of the Year while Moe Harris earned Rookie of the Year honors. It is the first time Castleton has won either award in the seven years of the program. Both earned First-Team All-Conference honors, along with Pelz-Walsh, Jordan Goodrich, Brett Denning and Tyler Higley. George Busharis, Andrew Breting and Darren Callan were selected to the second team while Leo Audy and Bobby Lineberger were named honorable mention.

Pelz-Walsh led the ECFC in receptions (60), receiving yards (968) and finished third with seven touchdowns. He also had four games with over 100 yards receiving and was fourth in the conference in all-purpose yards per game.
