Ryan Mulder Named ECAC East Goaltender of the Week

Ryan Mulder of Ottawa, ON delivered a pair of impressive performances for the Spartans this weekend, helping them upset seventh-ranked Babson before forcing tenth-ranked UMass Boston to go to overtime. Subsequently, the freshman was honored today as the ECAC East Goaltender of the week as announced by the conference.

Against the Beavers, Mulder played a fantastic game, producing a career-high 46 saves with a .979 save percentage and just one goal allowed. He continued that form into the following day by stopping 35 shots against the Beacons' attack, which is the fourth-ranked scoring offense in the nation. On the season, Mulder's record sits at 4-8 overall after producing a .921 save percentage and 2.60 GAA in 13 appearances.
