Ryan Mulder Earns NEHC Goalie of the Week Honors

After a delivering a pair of stellar performances in net for the Spartans this weekend, sophomore Ryan Mulder of Ottawa, ON was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Goalie of the Week, as announced by the conference today.

Mulder started both games this weekend, producing a combined 63 saves with just three goals allowed as the Spartans went 1-1 and moved to 2-12-1 on the year. In Castleton's 2-1 defeat to UNE, the sophomore held the Nor'easters scoreless for more than 58 minutes of play and finished the game with 39 saves and a .951 save percentage. He followed that up by tallying 24 saves and recording his first career goal to help the Spartans knock off Southern Maine, 5-1.
