McCormick Named to NSCAA All-New England Team

Following a selection to the North Atlantic Conference First Team this fall, Castleton men's soccer senior Alex McCormick has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's New England Region Third Team. McCormick returned to action this season for Castleton after a year away in 2015, making an immediate impact in the midfield. He was part of a defensive unit that allowed just six goals in conference play, and part of an offensive unit that averaged nearly three goals per game in the NAC. His leadership was a valuable asset for the young Spartans, and Head Coach John O'Connor regards McCormick as one of the most technical midfielders that Castleton has had.
