The event showcased presentations by undergraduate and recently graduated history students on a variety of different topics and time periods in history. Prizes were awarded to the best student papers in each session.

This year's conference featured a total of 25 presentations organized into eight panels on the following themes: Gender in the Medieval and Early Modern World, Technologies of Power, Unexpected Radicalism, U.S. Foreign Policy, Religion and Politics, Challenges in Modernity, Political Legacy, and National Identity and Memory.

Phi Alpha Theta awarded six prizes to the students whose papers, presentations, and ability to answer questions were considered exceptional. Of the 26 participating students, Castleton College students were awarded three of the six prizes.
