Louis Alhage Named NAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Following a 2-1 week with a pair of conference victories, Castleton's Louis Alhage of New Milford, CT was named the North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference.

Alhage was honored as the NAC Defensive Player of the Week after his work in three games. The sophomore midfielder dished off three assists while causing three turnovers and picking up four ground balls in a win over Green Mountain. He followed it up with three ground balls, and one caused turnover, while serving as the team's best midfielder during clear attempts in a loss to Potsdam. Alhage concluded the week with two assists, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers, while helping the Spartans earn their first shutout since 2012, taking down UMF 23-0.
