Kingdon Named NAC & ECAC Rookie of the Week

Castleton men's soccer freshman Jack Kingdon earned Rookie of the Week honors for his performance over two games. Kingdon picked the right time to score his first career goal, as the rookie netted the game-tying goal in the Spartans' first conference match of the season against NEC. The Spartans went on to win 2-1-their first victory of the season. In a contest against Keene State, the rookie also had a pair of shots, including a scoring chance late in the game that went just wide of the net as he got behind the defense to head an errant Keene St. pass towards the goal. Overall on the week, Kingdon had seven shots, four of which he put on goal.
