Kaylyn Crompton Named Rookie of the Week

Following a second-place finish in the six-kilometer Vermont State Meet, Kaylyn Crompton of the Castleton women's cross country team has been recognized as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Rookie of the Week. Crompton dashed to the line with an impressive 24:14 clip, leading the freshman to a second place finish in a field of 80 runners, including five top-ten runners from nationally-ranked Middlebury College.
