Jessica Cameron Named NEHC Goaltender of the Week

After posting a pair of important conference victories over the weekend, Castleton's Jessica Cameron of Mt. Mellick, VT was named the New England Hockey Conference Goaltender of the Week for the sixth time this season.

Cameron was phenomenal between the pipes once again for the Spartans, picking up her 11th and 12th victories of the season in an undefeated week for Castleton. On Friday night, the senior allowed just one goal at Plymouth St., stopping 14 out of the 15 shots she faced. On Saturday, Cameron recorded one of her best performances of the season by posting a 39-save shutout of No. 9 Norwich en route to a 1-0 victory. Cameron finished the week with a 2-0-0 record, 0.50 goals-against average and a .981 save percentage. The shutout on Saturday was her third of the season.
