Jessica Cameron Awarded Castleton College Institutional Research Grant

Jessica Cameron of Mt. Mellick, PEI was recently awarded an institutional research grant for the 2013-2014 academic year. Eighteen different faculty-student groups earned the grant.

Awarded by Academic Dean Tony Peffer and reviewed by Associate Academic Dean Ingrid Johnston-Robledo, and a faculty committee, the grants total $20,000 and range from $500-$2,000 each.

Several disciplines are represented by the various projects, which utilize many different methods for answering research questions and generating knowledge. In addition to presenting their work at the Castleton Scholarship Celebration in May, many groups will present their work at national conferences this spring and summer.
