Jeffrey Virge II Awarded Castleton Philosophy Plato Prize

Castleton student Jeffrey Virge II was recently awarded the Castleton Philosophy Department's Plato Prize for best essay in Philosophy.

Virge II's "The God Fallacy" paper earned him a $200 award and an invitation to present his work at a public event on campus during the 2017-2018 academic year.

The Plato Prize is awarded to a student with the best essay in philosophy during the academic year and is sponsored by Castleton's Philosophy Department and Chief Academic Officer. The competition is open to all Castleton students.
