Grandon Smith named Eastern College Athletic Conference Runner of the Week

Grandon Smith was named Eastern College Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18, acknowleding the junior's performance in the UMASS-Dartmouth Invitational. After two wins to start the season, Smith accomplished another impressive finish in the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 26:19, leading all NAC runners to the finish line and placing 34th overall. Smith's 5:17 pace was a season-best and helped the Spartans take 20th-place as a team in a strong field of 33 programs.
