Erin McKenna Named NAC Rookie of the Week

After leading the Spartans to a season-opening 15-4 victory against Western Connecticut, freshman Erin McKenna of York, ME was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference.

McKenna was a key force on defense in the Spartan victory on Saturday. She played the entire game on defense and helped limit the Colonials to their lowest scoring output since 2012 and zero goals over the final 27 minutes of regulation. She also picked up a pair of draw controls in the win.
