Emily Hudson Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

Emily Hudson of Dillsburg, PA was one of seven Castleton field hockey student-athletes to be named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad for her performance in the classroom.

The nominees consisted of Briana Bocelli, Brittany Verge, Cassidy Auger, Emily Hudson and Sierra Galusha along with seniors Karissa McCoy and Jess Galatioto. For Galatioto, this marks her fourth consecutive appearance on the National Academic Squad.

To be selected, a student-athlete had to achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2014-15 academic year. This marks the fourth straight year at least seven players have been honors from Castleton.
