Crompton Named ECAC Rookie of the Week

Freshman Kaylyn Crompton has brought home the Eastern College Athletic Conferene Rookie of the Week award for the week ending Sept. 18. In Crompton's most recent feat, the Barre, Vt. native led the Spartans to a 22nd-place finish in the UMASS-Dartmouth 5K Invitational with an 11th-place finish overall out of 275 competing runners. Crompton led all NAC runners in the event by nearly one minute with an impressive time of 18:33 and pace of 5:58 per mile.
