Crompton Earns NAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Freshman Kaylyn Crompton reeled in the first Rookie of the Week honor of the season by the North Atlantic Conference after taking first place out of 53 runners in the Mountaineer Invitational at Southern Vermont 5k race. Crompton led the pack to the finish line with an impressive time of 20:11, nearly a minute faster than second-place. Her first place finish in the 5K race helped the Spartans collectively win the race as a team with 41 points, defeating second-place host Southern Vermont by 18 points.
