Brandi Whittemore Named NAC Player of the Week

Following a 1-1 week, senior Brandi Whittemore of Middlebury, VT has been honored by the North Atlantic Conference as the Player of the Week.

Whittemore was impressive in two games as she totaled 12 points, six ground balls and five draw controls. She scored three times with two ground balls and five draw controls in a 12-11 overtime loss to the University of New England, with her third goal tying the game at 11 with just 1:22 left in regulation. On Saturday against Worcester State she posted a career-high seven goals with two assists and four ground balls to lead Castleton over the Lancers 16-13.
