Allison Vachon Named NAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year

Castleton student-athlete Allison Vachon was recently named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year.

Vachon was selected as the NAC Defensive Player of the Year after spearheading a Spartan defense which gave up just three goals in nine conference contests. The junior helped limit the opposition to just 33 shots on goal in conference play, while anchoring a defense that recorded six shutouts in nine games.

Vachon also earned all-conference honors for the second time in her career.
