Castleton University Hosts Annual Gala June 22

Event Celebrates Castleton's Past, Present, and Future

Castleton, VT (02/12/2019) — Castleton University is proud to host the annual Castleton Gala on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Castleton Pavilion from 6-10 p.m.

This year's Gala promises to be an exciting evening, celebrating the university's past, present, and future while raising funds for student scholarships. The evening includes a cocktail hour, dinner, live music from the Aaron Audet Band, dancing, silent auction, awards, and more.

With a theme of "A Night Among the Stars," Castleton will recognize outstanding alumni who have made a difference in their local communities, respective professions, and the university. Castleton is currently accepting nominations for these Distinguished Awards, which include The Spartan Service Award of Excellence, Emerging Leader Award, and Outstanding Alumni Award.

The university will also award the first ever Community Partner of the Year Award, which recognizes a community business or organization that has an ongoing partnership with Castleton and supports the institution in a variety of ways, including providing student volunteers and service-learners with meaningful community-based learning opportunities and more.

All Castleton alumni, community members, partners, and friends of the university are welcome to attend.
